Born & Bread is an artisan bakery and café with two locations! Their first shop is in the centre of the growing village of Long Buckby, and our second location is on Sheaf Street in Daventry. They offer freshly-baked real bread, pastries, coffee, a variety of cakes, and lunch options. The shop was started in November 2018 by brother and sister team Ali & Libby who were born and raised in Long Buckby. Together with their friendly team, they hope to encourage community spirit and celebrate simple good quality food.

The almond croissants are particularly delicious. Their gorgeous buttery croissants get baked a second time to make them even more fabulous, adding crème patisserie, frangipane and plenty of flaked almonds. Their wholemeal sourdough boule is made from a blend of wholemeal, rye and a small amount of white flour. They add a mixed sourdough starter to give this loaf its flavour and texture. Perfect for toast or stacking a big sandwich!
