DESCRIPTION:* HEADLINING FINLAY CHRISTIE AND CHRISTIAN REILLY * \nTopping the bill will be Finlay Christie\, who is a British comedian\, writer and content creator known for his online comedy skits and award-winning stand-up performances. He performed his first stand-up show as part of the Comedy Club 4 Kids nights at the tender age of 6\, and went on to win So You Think You’re Funny in 2019 (when he was also a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Award). He then had his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2022. Away from stand-up he was the voice of Yojojo in the CBeebies series Waybuloo. \nOpening the night will be Christian Reilly\, whose first comedy gig was in the Perrier Award-winning show\, ‘Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw’. He is a global comedy circuit headliner and has appeared at numerous international comedy festivals\, on BBC radio and TV\, and in four series of the Chortle Award-winning stand-up and sketch show ‘Richard Herring: As It Occurs To Me’. In 2015\, BBC Radio 4 followed Christian on the road to the Edinburgh Fringe for ‘Lives In a Landscape’. 2016 saw Christian taking his comedy to Australia as part of Perth’s Fringeworld festival. Christian has performed at the Edinburgh Festival since 1999\, and his most recent show\, Gig Economy\, was released on DVD through Go Faster Stripe in 2019. \nSupport for the evening will be Christian Jegard\, who is a Brighton-based comedian who began performing stand-up and creating sketches in 2019. He is recognized for his alternative\, vaudevillian style\, blending charm\, awkwardness\, and humor in his performances. Completing the line-up will be Laurence Landau. \nThe evening will be compered by the Mill’s fabulous resident MC\, Pete Teckman\, who won the Not So New Comedian of the Year 2023 award. \nOver 18s only.
