DESCRIPTION:A unique opportunity to meet our walking boys up close before heading out on a beautiful walk with your own alpaca through our newly planted woodland with stunning views across the countryside. \nOur boys love getting out of their paddock to meet new people\, explore the land and find all the best forage and it’s good for us too. The benefits of spending time in nature are well known and combining that with a walk and getting to know and spend time with your own alpaca is a real boost for our wellbeing. \n\nOn arrival we’ll introduce you to our herd (each with their own unique personality!) and share some information about alpacas and how we take care of them.​ We’ll also share some health and safety guidance and tips on handling and leading respectfully. \nWe will then match you to the most suitable alpaca for you and after a brief introduction to your alpaca in terms of name\, personality and particular quirks\, we’ll be off! \nWe’ll take them on a walk around our 28 acres of land exploring tracks that meander through our newly planted woodlands and around the open wetlands. \nWe’ll then head down to The Hideout to wash our hands and use facilities before heading off.

It’s based around an “open gardens” afternoon\, but combines other attractions such as BBQ\, craft and market stalls\, live music and a classic car display. \nThere will be a range of gardens open for visiting\, and as well as the BBQ\, further refreshments include a beer and Pimms bar on The Green and cream teas in the United Reform Church. Finally\, there’s also a flower festival in St Michael and All Angel’s church\, and a Steam Engine display on The Green!
