DESCRIPTION:This September\, five creative local artist exhibit together at Stanwick Lakes to feature a vibrant mix of styles\, materials and perspectives in response to the natural world. The exhibition at Stanwick Lakes Visitor Centre will run for the month of September\, and will be open daily. \nHere are some of the artists taking part in this year’s event: \nAnna Yardley- The Sea Artist\,\nColin Odom- WoodWight\,\nDavid Buchanan\,\nEmma Turner\,\nTrevor Petrie.\nThere will be an opportunity to meet the artists to discuss their work on Saturday 6th September from 10am – 2pm. \nPlease note that on some occasions the room may not be available for guests to view all the artwork due to room hire bookings\, however a catalogue will be available to view at all times.

SUMMARY:Twelve ‘Creatives at Pytchley’ to hold a wonder of art
DESCRIPTION:What do you call a collective of artists? A beautiful temptation\, and for the ‘Creatives at Pytchley’ a weekend treat of inspiration\, unique gifts and a world of art opened for you to immerse yourself in. Running for the limited time of the 12th-13th of September\, from 10am-4pm with free entry\, this is one event you can’t find yourself missing. \nWoodwork\, paintings\, glass\, drawings\, jewellery\, gifts\, mosaics\, and so much more\, this group of twelve artists have designed the perfect weekend of art\, all to be held in the impressive All Saints Church at Pytchley – an architect’s dream with medieval foundations\, gargoyles and beautiful stone arches\, the art being further heightened by the atmospherics. \nIf you love the sound of this free event\, it’s also part of a range of activities being organised by the Northants and Rutland Open Studios with its community of hundreds of artists from around the county and surrounding areas. To kick-start this September a series of events are being held around the region. There are currently over 20 walks across North Northamptonshire and we are actively looking to set up even more. The walks are in a variety of locations and range in length so there is a suitable walk for everyone. \nWalking is a low-impact activity that is easy on your joints and can be done at any age or fitness level.
