DESCRIPTION:Burton Latimer Heritage Museum. Our Autumn Exhibition features the services which have served Burton Latimer in times of emergency including: doctors\, nurses\, St John Ambulance\, WW2 emergency services\, the police force and the fire service. From medical instruments\, to truncheons\, handcuffs and a fire axe\, there is lots to see. We have a "dressing up" box so that you or your children can pose in a police helmet or fire helmet\, plus take your fingerprints!\nOpen Thursday and Saturdays 10am-1pm from Saturday 5th September to Saturday 5th December. The dahlia collection will also be in full bloom. \nWhat’s on offer:\nScenic autumn walks through the woodland and historic gardens\nLocal artisans showcasing their crafts\nScarecrow Trail in the Walled Garden\nSeasonal food and drink\nEntrance is £10 per car. \nPlease note that parking is on the event site with a 10-15 minute walk through the woodland. \nAccessible parking is located through the main entrance of the Hall.
