Along the way\, you will enjoy 54-miles of incredible scenery\, country trails\, roads and towpaths. \nThe route passes through the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside\, including two stunning country parks\, Salcey Forest\, the Grand Union Canal and 21 pretty villages and towns. It winds its way along parts of the Nene Way\, the Midshires Way and the Northampton Round.

SUMMARY:Bank Fly Fishing Improvers Course
DESCRIPTION:Improve your fly fishing skills\, knowledge and confidence in a three hours’ session on the bank at Pitsford Water\, delivered by the coaches of Mid Northants Trout Fishers Association. You will be in a small group of improvers\, with appropriate support. It is suitable for adults and older children (aged 14+) who have completed beginners’ level tuition and can already assemble tackle\, perform a basic fly cast and tie a fly on a leader. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tuition price: £15 (£10 for club members). An Anglian Water fishing permit and fishing licence are also required. Content:\n– Fly casting revision\n– Learn about fly selections according to the conditions and season\n– Fly fishing from the bank supervised by a club coach or experienced angler.\n– Review what is working on the day and try alternate methods\n– Improve distance casting\, tackle choices and presentation
