Would you like to learn what is in season that can be foraged safely with a little care\, to supplement your diet? \nCome along to Sheaf Street Heath Store this April to be guided around the local area by Lizzy who will take you on a wander to seek wild edibles that are full of surprising spring flavours! \nWe will be looking for wild fruits\, herbs\, mushrooms and plants that are all around us and teaching you key identification features/preferred habitats to give a good introduction to foraging for your own wild food journey going forwards. \nThere will be a chance to sample afterwards some wild food makes and bakes to demonstrate how easy it can be to incorporate your finds into everyday meals and cooking. \nWe will be covering good foraging practice\, preservation techniques and what species to look out…
