DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Mid Northants Trout Fishers Association are giving anyone the opportunity to get into fly fishing and learn all about the wonderful sport. Based at Pitsford Water\, the club’s qualified and licenced angling coaches are running monthly sessions giving anyone the opportunity to come down and learn how to fly fish for trout. \nThe hour long sessions will take you through how to cast a fly\, guidance on the appropriate equipment to use\, hints and tips on how to fish Pitsford Water\, as well as a really friendly environment to learn all about fly fishing. \nSessions are taking place on the following dates; 20th June\, 18th July\, 15th August\, 19th September and 17th October. We also have soft axe throwing and archery by a local Scout group and racket games by North Northamptonshire County Council’s Leisure and Active Families team.\nWe have a BBQ and cafe open all day at affordable prices.\nDonkey rides and face painting are available for a fee. Face Painting must be booked in advance via the QR code on the poster but donkeys are pay on the day.\nWe hope to see you at our event.
