DESCRIPTION:Make the most of the summer views and create your own multi-layered summer-inspired lino print in a one-day artist-led workshop with expert printmaker Alexandra Buckle. \nIn this artist-led workshop\, you will create a multi-layered lino print based on images or photographs that inspire you. \nAlexandra Buckle is a former Royal Academy Exhibitor and Artfinder bestseller. She has exhibited in both Bucks and Oxfordshire Arts Weeks. Many of her pieces are inspired by local woodland areas\, such as Stowe Gardens\, Evenley Wood Garden\, Stoke Woods\, Waddesdon and Claydon. She is particularly drawn to interesting colour combinations and scenes with dramatic light. She has been teaching the art of lino cutting to all abilities since 2013\, from beginners to artists wanting to try out a new technique. \nFind out more about Alexandra Buckle and her art on her website. \nWhat You Need to Know \nTimings: 10.00am–4.00pm\nRemember to bring along your own packed lunch (tea\, coffee and cake will be available).\nWe will provide all the printing materials.\nPlease bring along a few images you would like to work from to the session.

DESCRIPTION:Would you like to tune into nature? Let go of stress? Unwind and relax? \nJoin us for a journey among the beautiful trees of Salcey\, once part of a medieval royal hunting forest\, and still home to ancient oaks. Our sessions are designed to gradually calm body and mind\, with sensory activities carefully chosen to help you move from ‘doing’ to ‘being’ – all while exploring nature’s seasonal highlights. Our guided ‘treelaxation’ will help soothe away stress\, and you’ll leave with tips and tools you can use any time to help give you a mental and physical boost. \nYour guide will be Liz Burfield\, who trained as a forest bathing guide having experienced first-hand the benefits of mindfulness and nature on depression and anxiety. Her sessions are friendly\, down to earth\, and suitable for anyone who enjoys being outdoors.
