DESCRIPTION:Wild Women’s Day – Wednesday 29th April 2026\nDodds Manor Farm\, Eydon\, Northamptonshire \nA seasonal gathering hosted by Lizzy from Tellus Mater & Angela from Dodds Manor Farm \nJoin us for a day of wild connection in nature. \nWe’ll begin at 10:00am with a warm welcome and introductions over tea\, coffee and wild biscuits\, before heading out for a guided foraging and nature walk (10:30am) exploring seasonal wild foods in the local landscape.\nAt 12:00pm we’ll return for a short break before moving into a wild seasonal greens and fermentation workshop (12:00–1:00pm)\, learning how to safely preserve what we’ve gathered.\nFrom 1:00–2:00pm we’ll enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch prepared by our host at Dodds Manor Farm\nWe’ll then finish with a gentle ecotherapy grounding session (2:00–2:30pm)\, including barefoot grounding (weather permitting)\, before closing the day around 2:30pm. There will be no formal instruction\, but committee members will be present with knap and chat about their work. \nParticipants need to bring their own knapping kit. We will have some safety goggles and gloves available but encourage all participants to bring their own if they can as every participant will be required to wear them. Would you like to learn what is in season that can be foraged safely with a little care\, to supplement your diet? \nCome along to The Red Lion\, Culworth this July to be guided around the local area by Lizzy who will take you on a wander to seek wild edibles that are full of surprising summer flavours! \nWe will be looking for wild fruits\, herbs\, mushrooms and plants that are all around us and teaching you key identification features/preferred habitats to give a good introduction to foraging for your own wild food journey going forwards. \nThere will be a chance to sample afterwards some wild food makes and bakes to demonstrate how easy it can be to incorporate your finds into everyday meals and cooking. \nWe will be covering good foraging practice\, preservation techniques and what species to look out for in the coming months after your foraging session with Lizzy. \nYou may wish to bring a camera\, notepaper\, something to drink as we walk and ensure you have sturdy comfortable footwear/weather appropriate clothing for the wander. \nFully insured. DESCRIPTION:Make the most of the summer views and create your own multi-layered summer-inspired lino print in a one-day artist-led workshop with expert printmaker Alexandra Buckle. \nIn this artist-led workshop\, you will create a multi-layered lino print based on images or photographs that inspire you. \nAlexandra Buckle is a former Royal Academy Exhibitor and Artfinder bestseller. She has exhibited in both Bucks and Oxfordshire Arts Weeks. Many of her pieces are inspired by local woodland areas\, such as Stowe Gardens\, Evenley Wood Garden\, Stoke Woods\, Waddesdon and Claydon. She is particularly drawn to interesting colour combinations and scenes with dramatic light.
