Dorothy wakes up in the Land of Oz to find that their house has landed on the Wicked Witch of the East. Dorothy wants to return home but to do so she must travel to the Emerald City and ask for help from the mysterious Wizard of Oz. She meets all manner of strange and wonderful folk on her journey and makes friends with a Scarecrow\, a Tin Man and a Cowardly Lion. Will the friends get their wishes granted by the Wizard? Will the Wicked Witch of the West get in their way? Will Dorothy ever find her way home? You’ll have to join us to find out! \nSuitable for all the family\, this is a theatrical adaptation of the novel\, ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’\, by L. Frank Baum. With a mixture of budding young thespians\, aged 8-16 years old\, and some local professional actors\, this whirlwind production promises to be wickedly entertaining with lots of community spirit thrown in for good measure. Follow the yellow brick road and enjoy an afternoon of theatrical wonder right on your doorstep. Adults £7\, Child £5 (booking fees apply)\, children under 2 go free. There will be a 15 minute interval and drinks and snacks will be available to purchase.
