Still on the lookout for a pumpkin this Halloween? There are plenty of local pumpkin patches to visit in Northamptonshire - make a day of finding your perfect pumpkin!
Rushden Lakes
Join Rushden Lakes this Halloween to pick your own pumpkin from their mini pop-up patch! Enter the patch and pick your pumpkin, and don’t forget to take lots of fun pictures as you go! Once you’ve picked the perfect pumpkin, you will have the option to stop by at the decoration station to customise and embellish your pumpkin so it’s ready to take home and display. This event is aimed at children aged 3-11.
Only those picking a pumpkin require a ticket. Parents and guardians do not require a ticket to accompany, but there is a strict limit of two accompanying adults per booking due to space restrictions.

Overstone Grange Farm
Overstone Grange Farm is back for their sixth Autumn of fun on their family farm and they have lots in store for you! They offer so much more than just pumpkin picking!
Their pumpkin patch has a huge variety of pumpkins! Their play patch is jam packed with more fun and they also have a mini maize maze to get lost in. They also boast a range of refreshments from local businesses, including the best coffee from Yellow Bourbon (which is roasted on the farm itself - it doesn't get more local than that!).
Overstone Grange Farm will be open from 5th October at weekends and every day from the 28th October - 31st October. They'll also be holding some late night pumpkin picking so you can experience the farm by torchlight!
Saxby's Cider
PYO Pumpkin Picking at Saxby's Cider is back! Bring your wellies, grab a wheelbarrow and go! Find your perfect pumpkin to take home from their farm.
Alongside their pay what you pick pumpkin patch (try saying that three times!), The Saxby's Cider bar and shop will be open with the offer of teas, coffees and soft drinks. Hot food will also be available at the weekends.
Trailer rides round the pumpkins and orchards will also be running at weekends! (weather dependent) there will be an extra charge for this, with no need to book ahead. They're also running children's story-telling sessions on selected days at the weekends, there is an extra charge for this. Tickets can be bought separately online (or on the day if there are spaces).
Mini Meadows Farm
This year the Mini Meadows ‘Scream Team’ have been working their fingers to the bone to make this the biggest and best Halloween season ever.
Discover a cursed, old barn which is set to spook you at every turn. It’s mystical powers mean that you never know where are you are heading to next! Head through the Spider Tunnel, navigate the Mystical Maze, escape the Torture Chamber and come face to face with the Wicked Witch in her hovel. When you think you’ve escaped, the Bewitched Barn plays two final tricks, sending you on a journey to Ancient Egypt where you will attempt to evade the Mysterious Mummies ahead of being plunged in to the Skeleton Graveyard for some spine-tingling photo opportunities.
In addition to the Bewitched Barn, why not take a wander through the Pumpkin Palace – They’ve got pumpkins of all shapes and sizes for you to create the perfect Halloween masterpiece, where your little ones can choose their pumpkin, carve on-site … and leave all the mess which is then fed to the animals on site!

Wappenham Farm
Are you brave enough to pick your pumpkins from dusk to dark & follow Wappenham Farm's creepy Halloween trail?! Be prepared to be thrilled & chilled!! (This is suitable for younger children).
Twilight pumpkin picking is an experience like no other! From just £9 per person and children under 2 yrs free of charge, the twilight gates will be open from 5.30pm and close at 9pm (last admission at 7pm). Complete your visit with a spookalicious meal from the Tipi Cafe! This is suitable for children.
Collect your wheelbarrow & head to the pumpkin patch to choose your perfect pumpkin from dusk to dark! Follow the spooky trail by moonlight (or torch light!) around the farm, enter the eerie corn maze, see some cheeky farm animals and browse their halloween shop filled with ghoulish delights!
West Lodge Farm Park
Pick your perfect pumpkin from West Lodge Farm Park's GOURD - GEOUS pumpkin patch! There's hundreds of pumpkins with different varieties, shapes and sizes to choose from. It's the perfect spot for you to take that perfect pumpkin picture with plenty of props amongst a sea of beautiful pumpkins, where you can purchase as many or as little as you would like.
Carving Options.....The fabulous team will be on hand to carve your pumpkins if you wish but you are very welcome to carve them yourself on site or take home to carve. Pumpkins are not included in the event entry ticket and are priced by size and variety.
Fill your reels and stories with the perfect insta memories! They have loads of photo opportunities all around the farm and you can take some gourd - geous photos in the giant pumpkin patch or a selfie with Bert the Farm Troll!
