The Great Spring Adventure at The Chester House Estate:

 

Back by popular demand is the cade lamb experience! Discover up to 100 lambs housed in the dedicated lamb barn, where visitors can meet, bottle feed and learn from the experts about caring for lambs and the farm to fork story.

Their popular GIANT Easter Egg Hunt, bigger and better for 2025 is also making a return! PLUS new for 2025 is the golden egg hunt – the cheeky Easter Bunny has snuck one golden egg into the hunt each day throughout the event. Keep an eye out for the glistening golden egg, and if you find it, you and your family win an ENTIRE event pass to all events for 2025! No hints will be given for this special egg, so may the best hunters win!

Crick Boat Show:

 

Britain’s biggest inland waterways event, Crick Boat Show is organised by Waterways World in association with the Canal & River Trust and Crick Waterside and Marina, and is expected to attract over 26,000 visitors.

As well as being the canal world’s biggest marketplace, showcasing the inland waterways industry with over 200 exhibitors, Crick Boat Show offers a fantastic day out with more than 30 new boats to view, free boat trips, technical masterclasses, live music, children’s activities, a real ale marquee, and a large variety of food and drink stalls.

Now in its 25th year, the show hosts the largest display of new inland boats, both narrowboats and wide beams, and for three days it becomes Britain’s largest chandlery when over 200 exhibitors bring together the complete range of equipment and materials for inland boating!

Open Gardens at Deene Park:

 

Deene Park are delighted to be opening the Gardens on Sunday 27th April in conjunction with the National Garden Scheme.

Explore the tranquil gardens which have been developed since the mid-twentieth century. There will also be a variety of themed gardens, including the David Hicks parterre, White Garden, Rose Garden, and Golden Garden, plus colourful long borders, specimen trees and pleasure grounds.
