DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Spring Farming Adventure!\nThis much-loved family event returns in March and runs throughout the Easter Holidays. \nWith adorable cade lamb feeding\, classic Easter egg hunts\, fun crafting activities and some additional special surprises this year\, it will be an unforgettable hands-on springtime day out for the whole family!\nBack by popular demand is our cade lamb experience\, this year delivered by our trusted & expert animal welfare team from Watermeadow Park.\nUp to 100 lambs will be housed in our dedicated Lamb Barn\, where visitors can meet\, bottle feed and spend time with these adorable little lambs.\n(For safety reasons\, pregnant women\, newborns\, and children under six months are not permitted inside the barn. More information as to the risks can be found here.) \nAlso back again this year is the popular GIANT\, Mini & Dog Friendly Easter Egg Hunt trails!\nCatering for all across different areas of the site with plenty of fun and things to see on your travels – of course with a delicious Easter goodie or vegan alternative once you’ve finished the trail and completed all activities! \nPlus\, don’t forget to stop by the Craft Barn with your passport to meet the Easter Bunny on your travels – and enjoy some fun spring crafts!

DESCRIPTION:The New Year brings an exciting opportunity to get hands‑on with one of Northamptonshire’s most fascinating heritage collections. \nThe Northamptonshire Film Archive Trust has now settled into its new home at The Chester House Estate\, giving us the space to welcome volunteers directly into the heart of our working archive. We’re also delighted to be working closely with Discover Northamptonshire to help more people explore and celebrate the county’s rich and varied heritage. \nStarting from January 29 and then throughout the year\, we’ll be running two‑hour volunteer sessions on the last Thursday of each month. These sessions offer a rare chance to help maintain historic film equipment\, catalogue original footage\, and support the essential behind‑the‑scenes work that keeps Northamptonshire’s moving‑image history alive. For those looking to build skills or gain formal recognition\, we can also arrange a tailored course leading to certification for education or employment purposes. \nVolunteer sessions run from 10:30am to 13:30pm and must be booked in advance by emailing tnfat@outlook.com. \nOur unit is also open to the public most Tuesdays and Thursdays—perfect for dropping in\, meeting the team\, and exploring what is believed to be the largest display of home‑movie equipment in England. \nA brilliant way to start the year\, get involved\, and help preserve the county’s film heritage for future generations.
