DESCRIPTION:Part of The Creative Place’s 2 Weeks of Words mini literary festival. \nBorn and brought up in Northampton\, Michael (M. R. G.) Davies initially trained as a journalist on the Chronicle & Echo but later abandoned being a newspaper editor to write fiction. Before kicking off his Cosy Crime Club series with Murder by the Book\, A Game of Murder and From Murder With Love\, he was an award-winning playwright and scriptwriter. \nAs an author\, Michael completed Desmond Bagley’s thriller Domino Island for posthumous publication and has written two sequels\, Outback and Thin Ice. All his novels are published by HarperCollins. His stage work has been performed at the Royal & Derngate\, the RSC and across the UK\, he has written Netflix chart-topping non-fiction for worldwide television\, had short stories and poetry commissioned and published\, and contributes regular essays for theatre programmes. \nLocation: Northampton
