DESCRIPTION:Friday 7th August – Thursday 27th August 2026 \nThe Shoosmith Gallery at Delapré Abbey \nThis August\, in collaboration with Northampton Fine Art\, The Shoosmith Gallery presents ‘David Hockney: A Lasting Image’ – a vibrant exhibition celebrating the life and extraordinary legacy of one of Britain’s most celebrated artists. \nDiscover a carefully curated selection of original works\, rare publications and collectable pieces. These will be displayed alongside the gallery’s permanent collection of watercolour paintings by Northampton’s Shoosmith family\, including the highly-regarded Thurston Laidlaw Shoosmith (1865-1933). \nThe gallery also invites you to register your interest to attend an exclusive Private View on the 7th August. Simply visit their ‘What’s On’ page at www.shoosmithgallery.org/whats-on \, click register\, enter your details\, and you’ll be contacted with further information. As spaces are limited\, attendance will be allocated on a first come\, first served basis. \nEntry to the exhibition is free\, with works available for purchase. \nOpening hours: Tuesday – Friday: 10am – 4pm\nSaturday: 11am – 4pm.
