SUMMARY:Titchmarsh Fete
DESCRIPTION:It's our annual summer fete – the one with the parachuting teddies!  We have lots going on – Northampton Morris Dancers\, Dynamix Dance\, Kettering Starlight Theatre Group and the Thrapston Line Dancers are all performing in the main arena.  Thrapston Town Band are performing in the Church (acoustics are great in there).  We have a Dog Show and Dog Scurry\, a craft show in the school and the main event is the Parachuting Teddies – this is where children (and adults!) attach a homemade parachute to their teddy and we launch them off the top of the Church Tower at 3.45pm.  The slowest one to descend wins.  Its brilliant fun and now in its 20th year of flying mayhem – we might have lost one or two over the years as they fly off into the unknown!
