2025 marks the 200th anniversary of the world’s first ever public passenger trains on the Stockon & Darlington Railway. The Northampton & Lamport Railway will be marking this historic anniversary with its Rail 200 Gala, featuring an intensive timetable of passenger and demonstration freight trains over two days.

They also have a guest steam loco coming in!

Each day will see two steam locos and 2 heritage diesel locos swapping roles on different trains.

Free parking, toilets and baby changing, dogs welcome.

The ‘Platform 3 Buffet’ will be open throughout, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and freshly prepared hot food.
