Abington Park

One of Northampton’s most beloved green spaces, Abington Park offers peaceful gardens, a tranquil lake, and plenty of benches to sit and reflect. It’s perfect for a lunchtime escape or a weekend stroll. It is also home to Abington Park Museum, sports facilities, a cafe,  and a garden for the blind meaning you'll never be short of something to do to keep your mind busy. Towcester Meadows

A hidden gem tucked behind the town centre, Towcester Meadows is a quiet, grassy space with winding paths and views of the River Tove. It’s a lovely spot for a mindful walk or a moment of solitude. With so much to see, there is also a natural play area under the trees to allow children free play.

Barnwell Country Park

Pictured above, this peaceful park features lakes, woodlands, and wildlife-rich habitats. It’s a great place to reconnect with nature, spot birds, and enjoy the calming sounds of water and wind through the trees. Make sure to also enjoy the view from the Kingfisher Cafe’s lakeside deck. Lyveden

Lyveden’s tranquil gardens and historic lodge offer a unique blend of nature and heritage. Surrounded by orchards, wildflower meadows, and reflective pools, it’s a deeply peaceful place to explore and unwind. You can venture off and explore right up to the New Bield, or stay close to the café and explore the orchard.

The Chester House Estate
