Delapré Food Festival 2026

Enjoy a fantastic day out for food lovers and families on the beautiful lawns of Delapré Abbey, where you’ll find artisan food and drink stalls, street food, chef demonstrations and plenty more.
Northamptonshire’s much‑loved Delapré Food Festival returns in 2026, bringing a vibrant celebration of local and regional produce to the grounds of this stunning urban country house. Expect the lawns to be packed with makers, bakers, brewers and creators for a full weekend of summer indulgence.
Visitors can look forward to professional chef demos, outdoor bars, wine and gin tastings, cocktail workshops, cheese masterclasses, a live‑fire cooking school and a free family circus for all ages.
Your ticket also includes guided tours of the historic Abbey—one of Northampton’s true heritage treasures.
Created by the team behind Towcester Food Festival and Bite Street NN, Delapré Food Festival showcases the very best artisan food and drink from Northamptonshire and beyond.
The south lawn will host a lively street food market accompanied by acoustic music, perfect for relaxed outdoor dining.
This year’s chef demo line‑up features top local talent, including award‑winning Bart Polinski of Hibiscus and the ever‑energetic James Peck from Ember in Wellingborough. Each chef will prepare a favourite dish using seasonal ingredients and share expert tips to elevate your own cooking.
Cheese lovers can join masterclasses with expert Shane Holland, sampling exceptional cheeses and learning what makes them special.
Families will find plenty to enjoy too, with face painting, a bouncy castle, a free circus and lots of space to play. Paid cookery classes are also available.
Ember, Northamptonshire’s premier live‑fire restaurant, will run the live‑fire cooking school for aspiring pitmasters—extra ticket required.
Guided house tours run twice daily, or you can explore at your own pace. The Orangery will be serving cream teas on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
The house is open both days from 10am to 4pm. Please note: no dogs or food and drink are allowed inside, and some areas of the grounds may be uneven.
