Starting in July, the world of illusion will be opened up to disbelieving eyes when Derren Brown brings his Only Human show to Northampton’s Royal & Derngate on 21 July.
If you fancy something a little more rustic and rural, why not check out the Tea and Scone Trailer Experience at Colready Highlands on 23 July.
Is Bug Jam right up your street? Then you need to be at Santa Pod raceway from 24-26 July.
For the foodies among you, the Great British Food Festival will be hosted by Holdenby House on 25 July.
But if crayfish are more to your taste, and the wonderful world of seafood paella, then head over to the weird and wonderful Crayfish Festival at Towcester Mill Brewery on 26 July.
Switching the vibe to music, and the music of the King of Rock’n’Roll, an Elvis tribute will keep you shaking and shifting at Kettering’s Lighthouse Theatre on 31 July.
A new month is heralded by a parade of classic cars which is being lined up for Rushden on 2 August.
And there are two opportunities to visit the site of arguably our nation’s most significant Civil War battle at Naseby on both 8 and 23 August.
For the little ones, Fireman Sam will be bringing his hosepipe to the Lighthouse on 20 August.
And a busy holiday period will be rounded off with the inaugural Roseshire Music Festival at Chester House on 29 August.
