Crayfish in Towcester – you better believe it!
Crayfish come to Towcester once a year – and this year’s crayfish festival, at the Towcester Mill Brewery, takes place on Sunday 26 July.
It is the tenth year that the Crayfish Capers will be taking place at Towcester Mill Brewery – the crayfish will be caught fresh from the Mill leat and cooked for all to enjoy.
Trapping the signal crayfish in this way helps slow down the devastating effects they are having on our waters. Come along for lunch and enjoy something freshly cooked from the menu:
Giant Pan Mixed Crayfish Paella (Mixta)
Giant Pan Meat Paella (Carne)
Prime Cod Fish Finger Sandwich
Crayfish & Smoked Salmon Fish Finger Sandwich
Freshly cooked Signal Crayfish
You need to arrive early if you want to eat! Serving is from 12pm out in the Mill garden. Available while stocks last.
