About Castle Farm Campsite
This 4th generation farm has been in the Gould family for nearly a century growing combinable crops & sugar beet, as well as being the home for some sheep & cattle. The family love to see visitors enjoying all that the farm has to offer. The castle farm campsite is set within the beautiful and historic village of Fotheringhay. The village has a rich history, including the birth of Richard III, and the beheading of Mary Queen of Scots.
In the shadow of Fotheringhay Castle ruins, this idyllic, picturesque and historic site is the perfect destination for a short break. The castle farm site consists of 5 caravan pitches, a campsite available for small and large groups & boat moorings, all a short walk from the welcoming village of Fotheringhay, a short drive from the market town of Oundle. The River Nene provides excellent opportunities for fishing, canoeing or even a swim if you’re brave enough.
