About Walks at Stanwick Lakes

Stanwick Lakes is a unique 750-acre nature reserve and is widely considered to be one of the region’s most imaginative outdoor activity destinations. Discover more about the history of the site on the heritage trail and view archaeological finds.

Walks on site include the following:

Assault course walk – 3/4 miles to the assault course and back.
‘Hidden Gems’ Sculpture Trail – 1 miles.
Nature Ramble – 2 1/4 miles.

Or create your own path! With multiple paths around the lakes, you can mix and match where you walk. Stop off at the visitor centre for more information and also a post-walk coffee and cake!
