Family-run vineyard producing English sparkling wine

Stonyfield Wine

About Stonyfield Wine

A small, family run vineyard producing English sparkling wine made by the traditional champagne method.

They have 1,000 vines on land above the Grand Union Canal, and the grapes are grown on the spoil from digging the canal and nearby tunnel over 200 years ago. Their wine is produced under a long-standing relationship with a leading regional winery and they have twice won the award for the best wine in its class in the UK, along with numerous other awards!

Stoneyfield Wine opens on the second Sunday of each month (though a check on the website to verify any changes is advised) and more often in high summer when they offer cheeseboards to go with glasses of their sparkling wine. They have a garden where, in good weather, visitors are welcome to sit overlooking the vineyard and enjoy a glass or two.
