Opened in September 2013, The Blitz Tearoom is a small family run business aiming to offer Kettering something a little bit different. The era of the 1940’s was a time of great spirit demonstrated by the British people through the terrible years of the Second World War and is remembered with great fondness by many.

They have recreated the relaxed atmosphere of a house of the time and have worked hard to find authentic furnishings and ornaments; even the staff are dressed in period attire to complete the experience. Music from the 40’s plays, interspersed with BBC news broadcasts and speeches by Churchill, while you soak up the ambience of this bygone time.
