Take your seat in the Theatre to enjoy professional touring shows and productions from community groups; or visit The Lab for smaller-scale shows, including regular comedy club nights. A registered charity, The Core places huge importance on Creative Projects activity which reaches a diverse and broad range of the community.

The recent Splore at The Core festival brought the town to life with puppets and street performances! The Get Involved programme offers a wide range of regular groups and sessions for families, children, young people and adults so whether you have an interest in drama, music, creative writing, dance, film making or arts and crafts, the programme of activity provides fantastic opportunities to have fun and make new friends whilst learning new skills.
