About The Duke of Wellington

The Duke of Wellington is a beautifully-restored 18th century pub and restaurant situated close to stunning Stanwick Lakes and Rushden Lakes. The team of chefs create fine, fresh food daily and they have a selection of wines and ales to satisfy the most pampered of palates. They also have a huge, double-deck barn which hosts regular music events and is an ideal venue for private parties, weddings and corporate events.

The private bar offers several wedding packages to choose from. As the only pub in the village they are the hub of the community and do their best to support local charities and activities. The Duke is named after Bonaparte’s nemesis because the first pair of his eponymous Wellington boots were made in Stanwick.
