About WhatSUP Training

Welcome to WhatSUP Training, nestled next door to the historic, very beautiful and scenic River Nene. Renowned for its tranquil slow moving waters, lush greenery along the banks and notable landmarks, the River Nene is the perfect setting for Paddleboarding. The River Nene is not just a place of beauty but also a haven for wildlife, teaming with diverse species that call this area home, in the water and out.

At WhatSUP Training, the team have chosen the medieval 9 Arches bridge in Thrapston, Northamptonshire, as their primary portage point. Amidst the historical ambiance of this ancient structure, the location provides easy access to the river. With ample space for practice and exploration, this portage point offers a gateway to mini adventures and memorable experiences on the water.
