7th Earl & Crimea Tour

Join Deene Park as they mark the anniversary of the Charge of the Light Brigade with a house tour centred around the Crimean War and the 7th Earl of Cardigan.

Enjoy a tour of this lived-in family home as they explore the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade and how the Crimean War became the first media war. They’ll also delve into the life of the 7th Earl and his family, and look back at photographs of the Balaklava Centenary dinner held at Deene in 1954. The tour ends with a visit to St. Peter’s Church where visitors will have exclusive access to the Brudenell family tomb and final resting place of the 7th Earl and his wife Adeline.

Tickets include a soup lunch, served in the Old Kitchen Tea Room, and access to the Garden.
