Get out of your head and into your hands this Autumn by joining Stanwick Lakes for a full day of Batik Silk Painting. In this workshop Lisa will teach you how to stretch your silk onto a wooden frame and apply melted wax using tjanting tools and paintbrushes. As a result of learning this mindful process, you will also create a beautiful piece of art on stretched silk (approx 24 x 24cm), an oriental fan and a suncatcher all to take home!

Please bring an apron or wear old clothes as the inks may stain clothing.

Please note lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch or visit the Visitor Centre Café.
