In 2021, Graham McKechnie discovered the grave of the Northampton Saints Rugby Clubs first Captain, Jim Barker, buried in 1929. In a state of disrepair, the club and foundation funded the restoration of his grave at Dallington Cemetery. Join for a walking tour of the cemetery and discover the stories of other Saints players that also were laid to rest in Dallington Cemetery, including Teddy and Harry Dunkley, Arthur Williams, Charles Stanley, Charles ‘Cock’ Leigh, Joe Beasley, Charles Davis, and of course, Jim. Sadly, not all graves are still visible but research into their stories and cemetery records gives an idea of their final resting place and they want you to join them in remembering them.
