On Saturday June 20th, experience the dramatic history of Grafton Regis brought to life on a leisurely walk through our beautiful village. Meet, in authentic costume, some of our most famous and infamous former inhabitants, including Henry VIII, who added ‘Regis’ to the village name.

The walk begins at 2.30pm at the Village Hall. We then visit the ancient Church of St Mary the Virgin and it’s fascinating heritage centre, and finish back at the Hall, where tea and cake is served. The cost is £11.50 per head, including refreshments, for adults, £5.00 for under 16s, and under 5s free. It’s an afternoon of history, fun and cakes!

All profits are divided between the funds for the maintenance of the Village Hall and of the Church.
