Come along on the 12th August to celebrate and explore the vibrant history of St.Peters Church & The Old Black Lion pub. This is a FREE family friendly drop in event, including an array of activities for all ages.

Take part in Norman battle training with the Hitchhiking Historian as well as Medieval craft demonstrations from Black Knight Historical!

Explore our dig pits and creative workshops, as well as discovering what a pub would have smelt like throughout history! (Spoiler: Not very nice!)

Amenities: Refreshments available to purchase, toilets and quiet space available on site. Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
