Learn to knit with chunky alpaca yarn beside the alpacas at Hideaway Wood Farm!

A workshop that focuses on simple knitting techniques to get you started on your own project using beautifully soft alpaca yarn. Yarn and needles provided (or bring your own!).

In this workshop you will be introduced to the basic techniques of:

• Casting on
• Knit stitch
• Purl stitch
• How to combine stitches to create garter stitch, stocking stitch and ribbing stitch techniques
• How to cast off
• Guidance on where to look for projects and further skills

Included in the price of the workshop:

• One ball of alpaca yarn (a variety of colours available)
• Chunky 10mm needles to borrow during the workshop
• Unlimited hot drinks

Details:

The workshop will take place in their rustic field shelter called The Lookout and the boys will be brought down into a large handling pen to spend time with you whilst you knit. You will have shelter from inclement weather and lots of hot drinks.
