2 Weeks of Words is The Creative Place’s mini literary festival.

Come get new children’s books for 50p (paperback) or £1 (hardback) all day at The Creative Place on Northampton Market Square.

Plus there will be some free reading-to-children sessions with some of our volunteers.

10am – 1pm Local artist/animator Colin O’Kane will be reading from his children’s book ‘The Boys At The End of the Street’. It’s a story about a boy who is frightened by the bigger boys at the end of the street, until he has to confront his fear head on.

1pm – 4pm Zanobia will be reading from a selection of children’s books
