Prebendal Manor – Architectural Changes From 1200 AD

From a royal Anglo-Norman timber hall to a substantial stone-built Prebend attached to Lincoln Cathedral.

Dating back to 1200 AD, and the oldest house in Northamptonshire, they will be examining the architectural alterations from its inception from a Royal timber hall to the present day. They will also examine the various styles of wall covering, in one instance by using postcards instead of wallpaper.
