Silverstone Museum offers an unforgettable motorsport experience, with a spectacular new exhibition celebrating 75 years of the Formula 1® Driver’s World Championship — only on until the end of September 2025. Marking the anniversary of the first ever Championship Grand Prix held at Silverstone in 1950, this special showcase features over 60 exhibits, including legendary F1® cars, race worn suits, original trophies, and rare artefacts spanning every decade of the sport.
Visitors can also take part in exclusive Archive Handling sessions themed around the 75th anniversary, with access to historic programmes, driver sheets and more.
Beyond the exhibition, the museum offers plenty to see and do. Test your skills on the state of the art racing simulator (extra charge), race friends on a Scalextric replica of the Silverstone circuit and relax in the café. Don’t forget to visit the shop, where you’ll find exclusive memorabilia and official teamwear.
It’s your last chance to catch this unique celebration of F1® history at the home of British motor racing.
As part of Heritage Open Days, they are offering a total of 50 FREE tickets a day the 12th-19th September for people to explore Silverstone Museum – there are only a limited amount of tickets and it’s first come, first serve.
