Jim Tyson will be delivering an interesting talk about his former diving club, in particular their discovery of gold coins. Jim, able to use his unrestricted access to charts, archive film and numerous photos, shows how the site was located, the coins (still shiny after over 300 years in the sea) were excavated and their position recorded following correct archaeological guidelines.

The Society now meets at Whitefriars Junior School, Boughton Road, Rushden, NN10 9HX, at 7.30pm, normally on the third Friday of each month, when they are entertained by speakers on a wide variety of topics. Often talks are illustrated with slides and relevant objects. There is limited free parking on-site for less able members but ample free parking on street or near to the Grangeway shops.

They welcome visitors to their meetings at a cost of £2.50 at the door.
