Yardley Arts team open the doors to the very first Yardley Arts Summer Open exhibition on Thursday 25 June. The gallery and sculpture garden are now filled with contemporary artwork by superb Northamptonshire artists and many from further afield in the UK, creating a vibrant exhibition in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Work by 111 artists has been selected by a specialist panel to show the best of contemporary painting, sculpture, ceramics and mixed media in one ambitious show.
On Sunday 28 June, the exhibition also becomes part of the Yardley Hastings Open Gardens event, with artists working live around the village. Whether you love contemporary art or are simply looking for an inspiring summer day out, there’s plenty to enjoy. Our new sculpture garden, sponsored by Woodmansterne, is looking fabulous! Visitors can vote in person for their favourite artwork in the People’s Prize Award and enter our free Prize Draw to win a Yardley Arts course worth up to £100.’
