Pot en Ciel
Pot en Ciel is a studio where adults and children create unique pieces of painted ceramic. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, and suitable for all ages. A variety of blank ceramic pieces are available to choose from, such as mugs and coasters, plates and teapots, to trinket boxes and even seasonal objects. The price is inclusive of your chosen piece, paint and equipment, studio costs and glazing/firing, so there’s no hidden fees.
Adults can enjoy child-free evening sessions, with or without expert guidance, and a glass of fizz! A wide range of painting materials such as stencils, fine-nozzled bottle paints and different paintbrushes are used, so you can create your desired piece whether you’ve never picked up any ceramic, or if you’ve done it 100 times! The on-site café serves hot drinks to your table, so you can enjoy a hot chocolate, coffee or tea whilst you paint. There is also the option of purchasing a scrummy homemade cake to eat alongside your session.
Each session lasts two hours, and you can use as much or as little paint and stencils as you like! Once you're finished, just pass it over to a member of staff, who will look after it until it goes into the kiln. Then, around two weeks after originally painting it, your pottery will be ready for you to pick up!
